We lost our puppy Crash over the Chirstmas break. He had been sick for about a month with what the vet said was just a cold, and just kept getting worse. The morning before he died Steve took him into the vet again and they did a chest x-ray and told us he had pneumonia (Steve thinks he might have had Valley Fever). He died at home that evening. We buried him out at my grandparents farm. The kids were so upset. Three months was just too short. The kids are happy thinking of him in heaven playing with Grace. It helped ease the pain a little to think of him keeping their sister company.
This is one of the last pictures we took of Crash, a couple of days before he died, cuddling with my nephew Triston.
A couple of months ago playing with Harley.

So so sorry. How sad. I hope you all had some cheerful memories with that sweet puppy.

Let's just say, it hasn't been a good year for dogs.
