The kids had their Spring Break a couple of weeks ago. I tried to come up with some fun ideas of things that we could do around town. We decided since it was semi close to my due date we shouldn't go out of town. The kids weren't too happy about that, but they said if we did some fun things it would be ok. Then the kids came home from school with GERMS, and got me sick. I rarely catch what they have, but this time I got it worse than any of them. I was down and out all Spring Break, plus more. I knew it was bad when Steve said he was going to take me to the doctor. So the poor kids got stuck at home watching TV and trying to entertain each other for their Spring Break. Reagan was so good to me, and did a great job of helping out around the house. I don't know what I would have done without her. Steve also had a few afternoons free and was able to try and entertain the kids.

One afternoon Steve took the kids to Home Depot and they bought some plants and seeds to start our garden. I sat on a lawn chair on the porch and watched them plant it.

Blowing up a beach ball. Usually mom blows these up, but we didn't want mom germs on it this time. Walker struggled to get it blown up, then after he was done we realized it had holes in it.
One afternoon the kids had a picnic in the backyard, on the soft green grass (Steve wants me to add). Here are Reagan and Carter chillin in the warmth.

The weather look so beautiful. We got spoiled with a few weeks of great Spring weather and then this past week it has been snowing with more on the way. (bet you don't miss that :) Sorry you've not been feeling well. Sounds like the baby is due really soon. When is your due date again? Can't wait to see pictures!!!!
Hey there, hope you are feeling better. It looks like nice, warm spring weather out there. We are expecting 2 more snow storms this week and had one today. Fun times.
I am feeling better, still have a little cough at times. It did make me very tired, and I haven't gotten over that, may have to do with the fact that I only have 8 weeks left in the pregnancy. I just can't seem to get any energy since I was sick. I am due May 22nd.

Nothing like being sick on vacation!! I'm sure your kids were just glad they weren't in school.
