The kids finally nagged Steve enough that we ended up putting up our pool Saturday. I think he was really hoping that they would forget about it until it got too cold for it, but we have a couple of months before it will be too cold for that. I wish we would have done this a lot sooner. We usually go swimming in real pools once a week at someones house in our ward, but this year that never happened. It sure would have been nice to have this up in June.
After patching about 3 holes we found after we started filling it, the kids had to take a quick dip before dinner.
They say they are going to swim everyday, except Sunday, until the water is too cold, to make up for lost time.

Steve decided that it was starting to cool off enough to finally plant our grass. We spent Saturday finishing up the ground, then Steve put the seed out. Wish us luck that our grass will come in nice and thick. I am dreaming of cool fall and winter evenings spent in our nice new backyard. You can see Steve's lemon and avocado trees in the back ground. That lemon tree is really coming along. We are actually going to have quite a few lemons this year.

Wow, I am impressed that the pool made the debut. Summer would have been a nightmare around here without the pool.

The pool look's like fun. Your grass will come in. We planted ours with seed and I didn't think it standed a chance but now we have nice thick lawn. Expect it to be a little weedy at first but it will eventually come in. Good Luck!!!!!

Hey! I wanted to talk to you at church but I didn't see you there! We need to get together so I can teach you how to use that program, and talk about when we want to do your family pictures. Call me and we'll chat!
