The LONG Drive Home

Since we didn't have a car to drive home, my parents were nice enough to let us borrow their van until we can replace ours. It is a huge GMC custom van (it is a monster). We call it the pimped out van, one of my friends in my ward called it "The Shaggin' Wagon". The kids love it, it is super comfortable inside, but it is a little hard to get use to driving it. It even has a TV and VCR in it!!
I was also lucky enough to have my dad drive home with me, which was great because he drove most of the way. I did drive for about half an hour, Walker was sick the entire way home and just as my dad fell asleep for a nap Walker had an accident and I had to find somewhere to stop and clean him up. Grandpa decided he would rather drive then clean up puke.

Walker with his puke bucket. Poor guy was throwing up the whole way. Not cool to get a stomach virus the night before you are going to take a 13 hour car trip. Yes, it took us super long to get home because we kept having to stop and clean Walker up.

Carter loved being able to see out of the big windows of Grandpa's van.

You poor family. I'm sure that will not go down in the books as the best trip to Utah...but I'm sure it will be one of your most memorable. Glad you are back!
