Beals Family Reunion 2009

We had our annual Beals Family Reunion in Hannigan's Meadow, Arizona this year. It was about a 5-6 hour drive east of where we live. We rented cabins to stay in and there was a nice meadow area behind the cabins for us to congregate for eating, visiting, and playing. It was so nice to be out of the heat of the Phoenix area, and to see the color green again. It was so much fun!!!!
I love that we do these family reunions. It is great to be able to catch up with the family that we don't see very often. Some of the little kids had never even met each other. They got along like they had always known each other. We had such a blast. Thanks to everyone that did planning of activities and stuff, especially Aunt Jan who pretty much did everything!!!
Aunt Jan had brought a portable swing for her grand babies and let us borrow it a couple of times for Jack. We thought it was such a great thing that my mom bought one for her house for her grand babies, even though Jack is the only one right now. There will be more someday!!

FIRE!!!!
He's not related to his father at all!!

Aidan and Walker. These guys were the best of buddies while we were up there. The only time we saw Walker during the reunion was when it was time to go back to the cabin to sleep. The kids loved being able to just roam, and play, and have freedom.

Brad and Carter on the 4-wheelers. Steve had to come up on the second day we
were there because of work. Thankfully my family helped me out with the kids. Jemece and Brad took Carter on the 4-wheelers so I could take care of Jack.

Thanks guys!!

The kids found water coming out of the pipes in one of the cabins and decided to play in it. They were pretending to wash dishes I think.

Triston and Walker watching a movie the night it poured rain on us. We had to run back to our cabins and try to entertain kids the rest of the evening. Thank goodness for portable DVD players.

Looks like so much fun...so glad you got to get away from the heat and be with family. I can't believe how old Carter is, especially remembering how small he was when you were first here. Your family is wonderful!!
