We had our ultrasound the day after Christmas. I know I am slow posting, but we had a lot of family visiting so we didn't get much accomplished for a week or so. According to the ultrasound everything is looking great.
Also, for those who haven't heard we have run into some complications, I guess you could call it that. They found an abnormal lab from 3 years ago after I had Carter in my chart from my last Dr., not sure why it wasn't noticed until now. I guess they think I have clotting problems, which could explain what happened with both Grace and Carter. Anyway they started me on blood thinners as soon as they found this out. Unfortunately, the only medication ok'd for use during pregnancy is an injection. So for the rest of my pregnancy I have to give myself injections two times a day. For a while they were actually having me do three injections a day. Because it is a blood thinner my belly, where I give the injections, is all bruised. But if this helps get the baby here safely I can do it. Everything else seems to be looking really good. My blood pressure has been low, which I had issues with Carter. I am feeling really good right now too. Luckily my Dr's are taking good care of me.

He definitely looks like a boy!:) My sister's due about the same time as you and she found out she's having a girl after two boys but of course she's still nervous that she might be having a boy. I'll have to send her to your blog so she can compare baby parts :) :) :) Congratulations and it's good that you were able to find out the problems you've been having. Hopefully the reaminder of your pregnancy goes real smoothly and fast!!!
Hooray for boys! I'm so happy for you guys. Holy cow...HOW DID THEY NOT CATCH OR TELL YOU ABOUT THE BLOOD CLOT??? Seriously that stuff just gets my blood boiling. Anyway, you are a true hero for doing those injections! That baby is going to love you because of it. Can't wait to meet the little squirt!
Congrats! Wow women you are awesome for for the shots. I could never do that!Good luck I am glad the figured out what was going wrong.
Congratulations! I didn't even know you were pregnant. How sad we don't see each other more since we both live only an hour away. I am so excited for you. Keep in touch and let me know how everything is going for you.
I can sympathize with Reagan, I have three brothers and no sisters. And she'll love him the same once he's born. But it is still a bummer to know that you're not getting a sister. (Just remind her that being the only girl she will get all the fun shopping trips and special things with mom that no one else gets to do!)
Stay healthy and let me know if you need anything. I never seem to get to chat with you anymore.
Congrats, Jen. Just think of all the money you'll save having a boy. Oh, and if you need needles...I'll get ya hooked up. :)
