Christmas Day 2010

Christmas day we went over to my Grandma's house for dinner. We had some family in town so it was really fun to have a lot of people to spend the day with. We went out in the fields during the afternoon to see the cows and check out the horses in the field next to my Grandma's.
I decided to try and get some fun pictures of the kiddos, so there are a lot.
Reagan and Jack.

Cowboy Carter.

Walker, trying to stay away from the camera.

Me and Carter. Carter was tired of walking so I gave him a piggie back ride. He thought that cow was getting a little too close to us so he was freaking out a little.

Jack and Addison. This is my cousins baby, she is 2 days older than Jack. It was cute to see Jack have someone his age to play with.

Christmas Morning 2010

Waiting to go out and see what Santa brought.

Santa brought us a few new video games and movies. Carter got a DSi, which he was very excited about. Now he doesn't have to borrow Reagan and Walker's anymore. Jack got a dump truck, and a big container of Goldfish crackers.

Reagan got some money from Santa, and a Cinderella watch. She is going to put her money towards a laptop.

Santa brought Walker a tent, sleeping bag, backpack, and pocket knife.

Jack got a few mini stuffed animals from his siblings.

Carter got cowboy boots and a mini Bolt stuffed animal from his siblings.

Carter loves his baby Bolt.

Walker got a Darth Vader Lego watch from his siblings.

Reagan opening her present from her brothers. They got her a Rapunzel barbie.

Jack's First Haircut

Jack's hair was getting pretty long. Steve had been giving me a hard time for quite a while about cutting it, but I just loved his curls so it was really hard to admit that it was time. After having a few people while we were out think he was a girl I figured it was time to give in and get it cut. (Although with us living near a retirement community, I'm not sure how well I trust the eyes of the people that thought he was a girl)
Luckily Aunt Cara was willing to cut it for us. I think it helped him not be so scared about having it cut.

One last side look at those beautiful curls.

Reagan helping him hold still by reading to him.

He is not so happy about this.

The final look. It was so hard to get use to at first. It made him grow up so much, and I was not ready for it. Now that I look back at pictures I am glad we finally cut it, it was way past time. It is just so hard to see your baby grow up.

Halloween 2010

Kids all dressed up. Jack was a skeleton, Reagan was "Mona" the camp ghost from girls camp, Carter was a ninja, and Walker was the Grimm Reaper (again).

Jack Skellington

Yes, that is a big swollen bruise above his left eye.

Carter and Reagan eating cupcakes at the ward party.

Carter and Walker checking out their loot.

Miramar Airshow 2010

The first weekend of October we went to San Diego to see the airshow at the Miramar Marine base. We met some of my family there, and we all stayed at my brothers house. We had a great weekend. It was a warm day, and being out on the tarmac made it even warmer. We still all had a blast.
Trying to keep this hat on Jack was quite the task. I finally gave up.

Steve holding Jack. I just love his curls.

Walker, roasting away. Look how red he is.

Reagan sure looks like she is having fun, doesn't she?

Carter, Walker, Jaron, and Erin checking out the schedule of the show.

My dad taking a nap during the show. Not sure how he fell asleep, it was SO LOUD!

Here are some of the things we saw at the airshow. Steve took a ton of pictures, here are just a few.
Robosaurus. He was pretty cool. He shot flames out of his nostrils.

Steve's Office

In mid August Steve opened his office. "Surprise Family Medicine".
(In case you didn't know, Surprise is the name of the city it is in, and he choose the name hoping when people searched on the Internet his office would come up first)
Things started out slow, but are picking up well. He is really loving it. He got to choose everything in the office, from the floor plan, to the paint colors, to the flooring and cabinets. It was an empty shell when we started. The walls are still a little bare. We get things to put up every once and awhile when we have some money.
It has been a long road to get to this point, and we hope it will keep doing well.
