Raingutter Regatta

This week Walker had his Cub Scout Raingutter Regatta. He was so excited for it. Steve helped him find designs on the Internet and helped him build his boat. Walker's boat was the fastest one there, he didn't loose one race. He was so happy to win, you can see by the look on his face.

World Wildlife Zoo

The kids had Columbus Day off of school so we decided to go with Aunt Cara to the World Wildlife Zoo. They have a new aquarium that is pretty cool. It was such a fun day. Two zoos in one weekend. WOW!!

These are stingrays. You can put your hands in the pool and touch them. We couldn't get Walker or Carter to put their hands in the water. It was pretty amazing to be that close and be able to touch them.

Getting attacked by the animals as the enter the petting zoo area. These animals were not afraid of coming after you for food. Carter was a little freaked out.

I had to put this picture up. Don't you just love the look on Walker's face?

Phoenix Zoo

This last weekend we met my friend Wendy and her family at the zoo. I have been friends with Wendy since junior high, and she use to hang out with Steve and I when we were dating. She and her family live in Arizona now too, but far enough away that we don't see each other often. We decided to meet at the zoo and hang out with our families for the day. It was so much fun to see her and her family and the kids had a blast. It is finally starting to cool off enough here to spend time outdoors, and we are loving it.

Jack chillin' in the stroller. He was very good all day. He slept quite a bit, then toward the end of the afternoon we got him out to see the animals.

Splash pad fun.
Yes, it is still warm enough here to play in the water.

New Puppy

Yes, you read that right. We now have a new puppy in the house, much to my dismay. Steve has wanted a Boxer for a very long time. My sister's friend's Boxer had puppies, so they called and asked if we wanted one. I was outvoted and we came home from St George with a new dog. Right now it looks like he is going to be named Maximus or Max for short.

Walker was NOT in a very good mood the day we traveled to St George. He complained about EVERYTHING the entire trip (8hours). This is a picture of him at In-N-Out in when we stopped for lunch. This was the closest we could get to a smile that day.

St George Marathon

This last weekend we went to St George, Ut to see Steve and Jill (my sister) run the St George marathon. It was so much fun to hang out with the family for a couple of days. It was awesome to see Steve and Jill cross the finish line. I can't believe they can run that far. They both did and awesome job, and looked great when they crossed the finish line.
