Reagan's 12th Birthday Party

One of the things Reagan wants to be when she grows up is a fashion designer. We were able to come up with a couple of fashion designing activities for her party, and I think the girls had a really good time. The girls designing outfits for their paper dolls with scrapbook paper

Then the girls paired up and had to make an outfit out of wrapping paper. Here are the finished outfits:

The Topsy Turvy birthday cake. All of the girls were quite impressed with our cake decorating skills.

Reagan's Birthday

For Reagan's birthday she requested to go to her favorite restaurant Oregano's. She brought along her camera and these were a few of the shots we got while there.

Reagan and her pizza

The pizza cookie dessert. The kids were fighting to get their spoons in. It was quite funny to watch. Steve and I were lucky to get a couple of bites.

Carter's First Day of Preschool

So excited!!!

Showing off his new backpack that he got for his birthday.

Hanging up his backpack.

Peeking into the classroom. He has been so excited for preschool to start, but when we got there he was a little nervous. He had a hard time letting me leave.

On our way home.

Carter had help from Dad when he got ready for church on Sunday. He came in with not only a tie on, but a belt and suspenders, and his pant legs rolled up to his knees. Steve thought he looked like a golfer.

Needless to say I made him unroll the pants before we left for church. He looks much better now!!
The tie and suspenders lasted until we pulled in the parking lot at church, he said he couldn't breathe with them on. The belt came off during Sacrament meeting.

New Skate Park

We have a new skate park near our home that Walker has been trying to get us to go to for a while. We finally had some time today so we took the kids over. Walker and Carter tried out the skate area, they had fun, but felt inadequate compared to the other skaters there. Then the kids played on the playground and the splash pad. It was a lot of fun, but a very hot day. We will be spending more time here when the weather cools off if Walker has his way.

Walker was the only kid at the skate park that was wearing a helmet and pads. He was probably the only one with parents there too.

I guess you can say Carter was a little tired today. He hasn't taken naps since Jack was born, he just isn't interested and I am not up for fighting him. Today he went over to play at his friends house, when he came home I turned on some cartoons for him to watch while I did some laundry. When I came back in to check on him this is what I saw. Looks like he played really hard.

Almost rolling over
