RESIDENCY GRADUATION

This last Saturday was the graduation banquet for Steve's residency. Steve's mom was able to fly down to come to it. It was a really fancy four course meal at a resort in Phoenix. It was fun to be able to see all the people Steve has been working with over the years. Every year the attending Docs do a movie making fun of the graduating resident and then the residents do one making fun of the attendings. It was fun to see how other people see him. They made fun of how quiet and mellow he is, also his fertility (I guess having 4 kids is a lot). We also got to see Steve's acting skills as he portrayed a couple of the attending Docs.
Steve and his fellow graduating third year residents. Boy are they ready to be done and out on their own.
Reagan stayed home and watched Walker and Carter for us. Jack isn't old enough, or good enough, for us to try and leave with her yet. Jack was a big hit, everyone came over to check him out and a few even tried to take off with him. They wouldn't get too far before they changed their mind, he likes to cry, just a little bit.
Steve and his mom.
Good job Steve!!

p.s. Anyone in need of a good family doctor?

SUMMER FUN

Summer hasn't been extremely exciting yet at our house. With a new baby, we are much slower now, and mom is not as willing to take the baby out too much. We have been doing a lot of hanging out at home, and trying to come up with things to entertain kids has been hard. We have watched A LOT of television, made a few trips to the library (Reagan and Carter have already finished the summer reading program for the library), and tried to come up with games and crafts to do at home.
Our friends, the Thomas', moved a couple of weeks ago (we are really missing them!!). They decided not to take their swing set with them and were nice enough to let us have it. The kids have really enjoyed it so far. It is always nice to have new toys.

Mom bought some water guns at Walmart and sent the kids in the backyard to drench each other.

Our other new passion is our web cam. The kids LOVE being able to go on the computer and talk to their cousins. It gets a little crazy, especially when we get three families on at once.

Here is how Jack is passing away the summer. He is starting to wake up a little bit more. He is starting to smile and is trying to figure out how to talk to us.

Today Carter, Walker, and Reagan were fighting. Carter got really sad so Reagan cuddled with him on the rocking chair. Carter said to Reagan, "I want Jesus to come here because he makes everyone happy. I think we should call him." It was so cute!!

Carter and Chase

Carter's best friend Chase just moved last week, all the way on the other side of the country. These are some pictures of their last day together. We were able to watch Chase and his little sister Tally while their parents loaded up their moving truck. Carter has asked everyday since they left to play with Chase. I guess when you're 3 you don't understand what moving means.
Here they are eating their highly nutritious lunch, cinnamon and sugar tortillas.

Nice cinnamon faces.

BEST FRIENDS!!

Family Pictures

We were able to have my favorite photographer and friend, Jessica, take our family pictures before she moved. They turned out so awesome!!! This is major picture overload, but I had a hard time editing which ones to post. These are a few of my favorite ones. We are so sad that Jessica had to move, not only because we will miss hanging out with her family, but we will also miss the amazing pictures that she takes.
Of course, Jack was not happy through most of the pictures, so quite a few of them he is screaming in them. But that is what life is like in our house, so we are use to it.

Reagan sure loves her Dad.

It is like torture to try and get a smile out of Steve.

Checking out the ducklings in the pond.
I LOVE this shot!!

Mom and the boys. Jack screaming of course.

Throwing rocks in the pond.

Grandpa Lamb has always gotten the new grand boys their first truck (girls their first doll). This is the truck he picked out for Jack (after much searching!). Doesn't he look excited to start playing with it. Carter can't wait to open it and play with him.
Aunt Jemece made these adorable crocheted Converse high tops for Jack. Aren't they the cutest things ever? And yes, Jack if finally starting to get some rolls on those skinny legs.

Carter loves his little brother, sometimes a little too much. Carter always has his hands all over Jack, especially his face.
