VALENTINE'S DAY

We started a tradition years ago (when we moved away from our free babysitters) of Chinese take-out by candle light on Valentine's Day. The kids love this tradition. This year we tried a new place, we didn't love it. Walker as you know hates to eat everything so we ended up getting him a Happy Meal at McDonald's (cheeseburger, plain, no meat).
I wanted to try and have it be a little fancy. I had Reagan call Steve on our way home from getting the food to tell them to start setting the table, and that was my mistake. We came home and they were just barely getting off the couch. While I was putting away groceries, Steve pulled out paper plates and plastic utensils. When I tried to say something about using real dishes he asked if I wanted to do the dishes. I said I would, because I am the one that always does the dishes, but he still put the paper plates on the table. So much for fancy. Steve wasn't in a great mood most of the night, he has been working really hard so he was tired. After dinner we watched a movie. I think the kids had a pretty good evening, and Steve was happy once he finally got to go to bed.

SCOUTS

Walker just started scouts this last month. He is loving it. It may be the fact that he finally has something that is just for him, and Reagan isn't allowed. They just had their Blue and Gold Banquet last week and Walker earned his Bobcat. This scouting thing is a whole new world for me.

Happy Birthday Grace

Thank you Jill and Dave for going and getting these flowers. It means a lot since we can't be there to do it.

LION KING WITH THE KIDS

This is two of my favorite costumes from the show. I found this picture on the Internet, I didn't cheat and take a picture during the show, besides the fact that our seats weren't close enough to get this good of a picture.
Steve and I took Reagan and Walker to see Lion King the musical last night. This show is so awesome, and yes I have seen it twice in the last month. Next time it comes I am not going to get the cheap seats though. Last time I saw it we were on the second from the last row and this time we were on the row in front of that. I guess that is what you get when you spend $20 on tickets. Still so worth seeing, even if we were on the last row.

I think Steve spent more time watching the drums then the play. They had drums galore, he was drooling. I wish they would let you take pictures of the show. The costumes are so awesome, I can't even describe them. If it comes near you, you HAVE to go and see it. !!!!

On our way back to the car.

Taking pictures of each other.

Grandma Charlene gave Walker a Lego car for his birthday while she was here last weekend. He thought it was so cool. I loved this shot of him and Grandpa Lamb putting it together. Since my kids don't live near their grandparents we cherish every second we get to spend with them, all of them.
Walker was trying to be so careful with it. He was so worried about putting it away and making sure nothing would get lost and that Carter wouldn't get into it. We may need to look into investing in some more Lego sets. Great gift Grandma!!!!

Walker's Baptism

Walker was baptized this last weekend. We were lucky enough to be able to have all of his grandparents fly in for it. He was sure glad to have everyone there to support him.
We got Walker a suit to wear for his special day. Doesn't he look good? I can't believe he is this old.
