Here are some pictures from Reagan's first band concert. She started playing the clarinet in September. She is having a lot of fun. We tried to load some of the video we took, but for some reason I can't get it to work. I will keep trying.

Sour cream lemon, peanut butter chocolate, and deep dish pumpkin(sorry I didn't really get a great picture of that one). Don' you wish you had Thanksgiving with us this year? Steve makes the best pies. He put him self through college working at a resturant in Orem making pies, so he has had LOTS of practice.

TURKEY TROT

Today the kids had a "Turkey Trot" at school. They ran around the school and then the field. The parents could come and run with the kids and eat lunch with them. This is Reagan and Carter after she got done running.

This is Walker, Carter, and me after the race. Someone from the paper took our picture so we'll see if it makes it in the paper. Walker was excited, he said now he is going to be famous.

I made the mistake of running with Walker. I won't be walking tomorrow. For those of you who know me well you know I DON'T exercise. We got there right as the first graders were starting so I didn't get to stretch and then as I was trying to set my stuff down Walker took off so I had to run really fast to catch up to him. OUCH!!!!!!! (I am the biggest wimp)

Halloween Shirts

Here is Carter's Halloween shirt. It says Eat, Sleep, and be Scary. He thought he was cool because he got a Halloween shirt like his big brother and sister. His face is all dirty from eating candy and he has a chip in his hand. His two favorite things to eat. If we would let him live on candy and chips he would be a happy boy. He has figured out how to get through the child locks we have on the chip cupboard in the last week. I guess we need to find a new home for the chips.

CRAZY HAIR DAY

It is Red Ribbon week at school and today was crazy hair day. They don't get to wear costumes to school so we got them Halloween shirts to wear.

TRUNK-OR-TREAT

Here are our kids Halloween costumes. Our ward had their Trunk-or-Treat tonight. The kids had a blast. Carter is such a candy head now. He thought this was the best thing in the world. We finally had to hide the candy after we got home.

WALKER THE GRIMM REAPER Walker wanted to be the Grimm Reaper so bad. He even bought the scythe with his own money. We tried to talk him into being something not so morbid, but he wouldn't have it.


REAGAN AS ALICE IN WONDERLANDReagan was Alice when she was 3 and everyone said she looked just like her. She decided that she wanted to be her again, so it was to the sewing machine for mom. She looked pretty good.





CARTER THE COWBOY
This is what you call put together at the last minute, find what ever is in the house costume. Mom was busy sewing Reagan's costume. He tried to wear a pair of Walker's old boots, but they were too big so he couldn't keep them on. He looked pretty cute though, even in his Crocks.
Going through the loot after we got home. Reagan likes to trade Walker all of his chocolate for all of her non chocolate.

St George Marathon

Steve running the St George Marthon. He has probably ran 5 times the last two months. He was so happy to finish, and that he can still walk.

This is what you look like after you run 26.2 miles. Not my idea of fun, but I guess some people get some enjoyment out of it.
Jill with her boys. She was afraid that she wasn't going to finish. Her legs started cramping about mile 16 and she wasn't sure if she could go on. Having her boys there to cross the finish line with her kept her going.

Reagan turns 10 !!!!!!

She has been wanting this game for a year now. It was so late when we got home that she is going to have to wait until tomorrow to play. She wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up. Last year her and her friend even made up their own label. She draws clothes all the time. This game is going to be a hit I think.

The kids had school picture today and this is how they looked when they left home.This is some of Reagan's birthday from mom and dad. Mom made the skirt yesterday at the last minute because we ran out of money and she needed bottoms to wear. I had this fabric at the house and it matched perfect.

TMNT

Walker used the last of his money(including his tooth fairy money)on these TMNT toys tonight. I am trying to talk him into being one for Halloween, but he thinks he wants to be the Grimm Reaper. My mom made my brother a TMNT costume way back when they were cool before so if I can talk him into being that I won't have to make anything for him.

PIGS

Carter's new favorite thing, PIGS. He has 4 tiny(1-2 inches) pig figures that he has carried everywhere for a couple of weeks now, he even sleeps with them. We found this stuffed pig at Walmart tonight while we were B-day shopping for Reagan and used the last of his birthday money on it. I have a feeling this will be going everywhere with us for awhile. The other pig in the picture is new too, a bath toy.

Walker finally lost his first tooth last week. It has been loose for a little while, until mom sent an apple in his lunch to school. That made it REALLY loose, but he wouldn't let dad pull it. Then one day we were in the car and he yells out, "My tooth just came out." He had pulled it himself with "One finger" he will tell you. He was so proud of himself. He got $1 from the tooth fairy and was a little disappointed I think.

SUPERBABY

First Day of School

Reagan and Walker before school. I can't believe school is starting so early this year, August 13th. It was SO HOT outside today there was a heat advisory. We all were dripping with sweat waiting to be let into the school. Reagan was pretty excited, Walker was kinda nervous, Mom is VERY EXCITED. They were fighting way too much. Maybe there is something to year round school. Maybe if we had been able to get out and do more this summer here it would have been different. I still don't know what to do around here, and it is just WAY TOO HOT to do anything but sit in you air conditioned house.
Walker started First Grade today. He looked so sad when I left him there. I swear I saw tears on they way so I had to hurry out the door or I would have been crying too.
Reagan started Fifth Grade today. She was sad because none of her BFF's from last year are in her class, but she is excited about school anyway.
